Prefer to Stay in the Hotel

Okay, absolutely. Camping out means time with family and friends, having the ability to watch the stars above you as you go to sleep, and sometimes there’s nothing quite like some Dutch oven cooking, s’mores around the campfire, playing in the desert, or exploring around in the peaks. Each of these stir up the classic, nostalgic feelings of camping.

There’s also sleeping on bumpy ground. Community campground showers. Having to keep all the food cold in the coolers, a lot of extra gear, and being on the lookout for ticks.

At times it might be a better choice to just get a hotel room near to where you wanna stroll in the morning, or put in your day canyoneering and get back to a room at night. The way we see it, it’s the best of both worlds. Below are just a few of the reasons we think going the hotel route could be your best bet.

Convenient bed. In some cases you just want to crash at the end of the day without working out sleeping bags and making certain everyone is warm enough, or having to go out in the woods to go to the bathroom. Having a hotel room means clean sheets, something cozy to reconsider, and air conditioning or heat to keep you pleasant through the night.

A place to drop all the stuff. Maybe you like to look like the Clampetts, but if not, having a hotel room is the answer. Free up space for comfortable riding on the day trips by leaving the stuff you won’t need back at the hotel.

Showers. Ummmm … hello! No brainer! Sure, it’s good to play hard throughout the day, but it’s a lot more interesting when you know that once and for all of the day, you want to be able to invigorate from a hot shower. It’s so nice to get cleaned up and not feel dirty for the rest of the night.

Continental breakfast. It’s not like it’s anything special (though it really based on where you stay), but it’s nice to not need to worry about making breakfast in the morning. Having the opportunity to wake up, prepare yourself, and head down to breakfast makes it one less thing you have to bother with when you’re planning out the events of the day.

WiFi. It used for being that people travel to acquire away, and while that’s still true in many values, people often need to stay attached– even on trips. Whether or not you’ve got to have the chance to answer work emails or just prefer to post a photos to social media, staying at a hotel with WiFi makes this a breeze.

Swimming pool. Let’s admit it … if you’ve got kids along, the pool is always a favorite! Had to kill some time before dinner, or would like to keep the younger ones enthralled for a few hours? Staying somewhere with a pool will look after that. And hey, it’s also nice if you prefer to swim laps to achieve your workout in when you’re away from home, too.

Cell service. You aren’t often at a place where you can get cell service to check in with your loved ones when you’re out playing in nature. Yet, if you go back to civilization at day’s end, you can call and talk to your family, tell them about your day, and see to it that everything is great on the home front, too.

Even if you’re gone out on a family excursion or taking a few day of rests work to go play with some friends, remaining in a hotel is the way to go! And if you’re choosing a big group, we’d love to assist you with the transportation! We keep it easy for groups to obtain around, and can take care of the driving while you enjoy your time together.
