When Super Size Me premiered at the Sundance Film Festival In 2004, it had been intended as a comment on the food business and obesity in large. Morgan Spurlock decided to undergo an experiment and wondered about the impact of fast food on the body. If he ate at McDonald what could happen? Would it really affect his general health that much? How much harm could that kind of food cause?

At the start, all professionals agreed he was in great health: he worked out frequently, his blood tests were good, and his strength and exercise levels were above average.
Not for long.
Over the week, he also gained 9 pounds, which number was up to He neared fourteen days of being on the diet. But following 30 days of meals? He had obtained a 25, in addition to noticing that the food appeared to be affecting his disposition! Pounds. So…what exactly do they want to do if they go to the supermarket with Mom and realize the familiar label on the shelf in the aisle? That is right…they need those yummy cookies that looked so yummy on TV!
What about fast food joints that are a lure for children and kids Alike due to the play areas they’ve constructed for children? If parents move there with kids, the younger people will have something to do while the adults see. Win-win, right? Maybe, until you take into account the nutritional content (or lack thereof) in the food you just bought.
And it isn’t just the food, possibly. Soda is another way many Of our health is being compromised by us. When it’s ice cold and fizzy, sure, it might taste great, but you could change your mind should you learn what’s really from the stuff. (And let us not even get started on the quantity of sugar that’s in them. Take 7-11’s double gulp, for example, packing a whopping 48 tsp of sugar in a single (big!) Cup.)
And sure, this movie may be a bit over the top. After all, most People are not eating McDonald’s meals every day for every meal. But it does make one wonder what is happening to general health in the USA and what has changed so much to produce the current health problems we are facing.
There might be many answers to this question.
• As it was a time it was normal for a stay-at-home parent to prepare the family meal. Nowadays, lots of folks don’t cook (or even know how to!), and that ability isn’t being passed on to another generation.
• With less food and cooking exposure, adults, teens, and children aren’t currently getting the wide range of fruits and veggies that they require. Instead, plenty of individuals go for unhealthy “filler” snacks in place of something new.
• Fast food is everywhere! Today our towns are FULL of fast food joints — using an assortment of cuisine choices, too, where people used to strike up the diner in the city when they desired to eat . It is available just about everywhere you turn.
• Because life is fast and busy, people take time to really sit down and enjoy a meal. People need something they can catch and eat on the run.

• And people go around like they had to and do not exercise. Many of the jobs demand to be behind a computer monitor not moving around. People just aren’t as busy as they used to be, and it’s affecting our health.
